Flexible working policy has a bigger financial impact than cutting operational costs, according to EMEA wide survey conducted on behalf of Polycom
The survey conducted in spring 2012, assessed the views of 400 business decision makers across the UK, France, Germany and Russia on the merits and impact flexible working strategies have on business.
Key findings included:
- Two Thirds (66%) of business decision makers say flexible working has a bigger impact than cutting operational costs
- Video is a key element to a flexible working strategy, making flex-workers more productive (72%)
- Flexible working key for business growth in 2012, making employees 39% more productive
"The integration of Polycom's RealPresence Mobile with iPad's was a natural extension of Catlin’s communication strategy and has made accessing people on video and collaborating much faster and more productive. We're also finding that people are collaborating more from our room video systems with people on mobile video rather than conference phones which has led to an increase in usage of meeting room video systems."
