SoundStation^® IP Platform Compatibility

The Polycom® VoIP Interoperability Partner (VIP) Program allows manufacturers of SIP-based call control platforms to demonstrate through testing and certification that their premise-based (IP PBX) or hosted (Softswitch) call control solutions are interoperable on a defined feature set with Polycom SoundPoint IP® desktop and SoundStation® IP conference phones and SIP software. Polycom Voice Field Verified (VFV) Partner platforms are verified as working with Polycom SoundPoint IP and SoundStation IP products based on input from VFV Partners and their end user customers, but have not gone through rigorous testing by Polycom or the partner. Polycom is under no obligation to resolve interoperability issues between Polycom IP phones and the VFV Partner’s call control platform. Click here for more detailed information on the VFV Program. Polycom is committed to working with its SoundStation IP Conference Phone Partners to maintain up-to-date interoperability of the SoundStation IP product line with the latest major platform releases. The following partners have verified interoperability of SoundStation IP conference phones with their IP telephony platforms. DUE TO THE NUMEROUS POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS, POLYCOM MAKES NO GUARANTEE REGARDING THE INTEROPERABILITY OF ANY SPECIFIC HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE PRODUCTS.

With Polycom's commitment to open standards and the majority of its UC software used consistently across the entire SoundStation IP product line, interoperability is assumed (but not guaranteed) to apply to all SoundStation IP models and newer major releases, even if not specifically mentioned in the table below. As with all SoundStation IP products, customers should refer to their Polycom VoIP-certified channel partner for technical support and product assistance regarding interoperability issues.
