• Polycom RealPresence Media Manager Time-Stamped Metadata Management – Time-stamped metadata capabilities enable users to automatically capture and edit metadata synchronized with video event time intervals, including time-stamped slide text and program chapters. As a result of this time-stamped metadata, viewers can search not just for content at the file level, but also search for content within the event and be directed for playback to the moment in a presentation where the search term is referenced.
• Polycom RealPresence Media Manager Category/Channel Publishing – System administrators can establish logical content categories and associate any newly added media with at least one content category. Content Categories and subcategories can be organized under a cascading tree structure to provide users with an intuitive way to search for, and replay, relevant content.
• Polycom RealPresence Media Manager Three-Tier Retention Management – Through the Polycom RealPresence Media Manager for Media Director, Three-Tier Retention Management enables IT users to set rules to proactively manage content expiration at the Edge server cache, published library and the Media Manager database level.
