Ashley D. Goldsmith

Ashley Goldsmith joined Polycom in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Goldsmith was promoted to Executive Vice President in February 2011. The most important component of any business is the people, and Ms. Goldsmith leads Polycom's global human resources team delivering innovative, best-in-class programs that are helping to make Polycom one of the best places to work.

Ms. Goldsmith brings more than 16 years in human resources leadership experience to Polycom. She joined Polycom from F. Hoffmann-La Roche, where she was senior vice president of human resources, corporate communications, and environmental health and safety for Roche's Tissue Diagnostics Division. Previous roles include chief human resources officer at Ventana Medical Systems and consecutive positions of escalating prominence at Home Depot. Her last position at Home Depot was vice president of human resources for the Northern Division, which included nearly 700 stores in 20 U.S. states, representing more than 100,000 employees and approximately $30 billion in revenue.

Ms. Goldsmith holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a Master’s degree in human resource development from Georgia State University, and a degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University.
