Vice President, Channels and Advanced Technology Group, EMEA
Glynn Jones joined Polycom in 2000 where he held several roles in the lead up to becoming Polycom’s Vice President of Channels and Advanced Technology Group in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
In 2010, Glynn was Polycom’s Vice President for its Advanced Technology Group and Voice Communications Solutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and in 2006 he managed sales of Polycom’s traditional Voice portfolio. Glynn played an instrumental role in the local integration process when Polycom acquired SpectraLink and KIRK telecom businesses in 2007.
Prior to this role, Glynn was responsible for the European Service Provider business of Polycom Network Systems (formerly Accord Networks), Polycom’s Central and Northern European business, and in both regions, significantly increased business through determined integration of acquired businesses (PictureTel and Accord Networks).
Glynn is a communications industry veteran and was previously EMEA Vice President and General Manager for Quallaby Corp., as well as serving as the European Managing Director for VideoServer (now Ezenia). Glynn had the role of Director of Northern European operations for Shiva Europe Ltd., and international sales and marketing roles for companies including 3Com, BICC Data Networks and 3M.
Glynn is based at Polycom’s Slough offices near London in the UK.
